Classes

At The Orchard School we have three year groups and have three classes in each year group. We also have a Specialist Resource Centre for Speech, Language and Communication Needs which supports children across all three year groups.

All our classers are named after trees.

• Reception: 4-5 year olds – Ash, Elm & Holly
• Year 1: 5-6 year olds – Maple, Rowan & Willow
• Year 2: 6-7 year olds – Beech, Oak & Sycamore
• Pine Class: Our Specialist Resource Centre for Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
